Pale peach satin soutache embellished 1950s evening gown and bolero
Red-carpet worthy vintage 1950s evening gown and matching bolero, perfect for a vintage wedding, prom or special occasion.
In serene pale peach blush satin fabric, this regal beauty has a sweetheart neckline to the strapless boned bodice and is wonderfully tailored with a stunning full skirt.
The bodice and the sash detail down the left side of the gown are decorated with a stunning soutache corded design of scrolled tendrils and foliate shapes, highlighted with faux pearls, bronze beads, teardrop rhinestones and topaz faceted stones.
The dress has a matching short bolero jacket and fastens at the centre back with a metal zip. Lined bodice and calico cotton underskirt for shape.
petite size, fits like a modern UK 6
53" long from top of bust to hem
free size hips
bolero measures 11" down the centre back
In lovely vintage shape for its age. All stones and beads appear to be present and intact. There are a few light marks and catches to the bodice and back waist, and very slight fading to the hem but over all this is a truly stunning vintage gown which would cost a small fortune to have made now!
There is also a small faint mark to the sleeve of the bolero jacket.
