Sublime vintage 1950s strapless ballgown by Robert Dorland, in black beaded and sequinned net and lace.
Shelf bust with pleated net layers, and black floral lace ribcage/skirt, beaded and sequinned top layer. Fitted seamed waist, with black mesh net lower skirt with four tiered frill to hem!
Metal zip fastening to the side, with boning inside bodice for shape. Fully lined with black acetate fabric, with an extra thick black cotton petticoat for a fabulously full skirt. Labelled Robert Dorland model.
