We all know the festival staples; wellies, hat, sun cream, sunglasses, rain poncho ... but aside from that it can be hard to decide what to wear whilst hanging about in a field with a pint of warm cider in hand.
From personal experience we've found that generally you can't beat a vintage maxi dress as your festival frock. Comfortable, chic, unique and doesn't look weird with your wellies/cowboy boots or with a chunky cardigan thrown over the top for the evening (not that anyone really cares about looking weird at a festival!).
Below are a few of our favourite maxi dresses, with a few other choice pieces of vintage festival attire thrown in for good measure.
