Classic vintage 1940s cotton short sleeved day dress in mustard yellow and white border print with thistle-like motifs.
V-neckline, chest pocket, and hook fastening bodice with four decorative white buttons to the waist. Metal zip to the side seam.
Darted nipped waist with hook fastening belt trimmed with two buttons to match the bodice. Flared skirt with three pleats to the front and a single pleat to the back. Likely home or dressmaker made but very nicely done.
