Elegant vintage 1940s day dress in cotton fabric with a heady floral paisley pattern in tones of magenta, teal, blue and green.
Short sleeved dress with contrasting white cotton collars decorated with floral motifs. Chest pocket, popper fastening bodice with three decorative white buttons. Nipped seamed waist with metal zip to the side, and fabric belt with deco white plastic slide buckle.
Flared skirt with a pleat each side to the front, and a single pleat to the centre back. Home or dressmaker made, but beautifully done, and found in a house full of 1940s and 1950s clothing, untouched since the era.
