Classic vintage 1960s little black cocktail dress by Susan Small, with long sleeves, wide neckline and gathered detailing across the ribcage and waist to the front of the dress.
The neckline is trimmed with a gently sparkling band of silver crochet daisies with cubic zircona faceted buttons at the centre of each flower.
Bust and back darts for shape. Fully lined bodice/skirt with nylon zip to the centre back, and semi-sheer sleeves with notched cuffs. Labelled Susan Small of London, made in England.

In very good vintage shape. The crochet trim is possibly an addition made bu a previous owner. There is a small hole to the top layer of the fabric just above the hem, and a couple of tiny nicks to the right waist on very close inspection (not obvious). Dress has been shortened slightly by previous owner.
