This ultra-elegant vintage 1950s cocktail dress is made from sleek, stretchy black jersey fabric which hangs beautifully. Form-fitting and demure, it cuts a simple line at the front with a subtle cowl neckline and tapered-in waist flowing into a pencil skirt.
The drama, however, is at the rear where the dress features a layered design with gathering to the back waist, and a slightly lowered 'fishtail' skirt falling in grecian folds. Such a chic design!
