A wonderful wearable piece of art, this exquisite vintage velvet dress from the 1970s by is designer, Kate Beaver - who, along with her artist partner, produced period-inspired hand-printed apparel from their Dorset studio. This stunning deep, dark purple cotton velvet smock dress features a fascinating print of tumbling stickman-like figures.
It has long sleeves with gathered fitted cuffs, collars and notched panelled neckline, and gently flared smock shape. Pocket to each hip. 100% cotton velvet with hand printed design.
